Academy21

Academy21 is the UK’s leading provider of online alternative provision. Supporting over 1,000 pupils each year, Academy21 brings education access to students with complex behavioural, medical, and mental health needs.

From Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5, students learn in live, interactive online classes of 15 pupils maximum. Pupils can study from anywhere, including home or school, with just a computer, headset, and internet connection.

Learning is flexible with 24/7 access to recorded lessons, and every student’s wellbeing is supported with tutor check-ins and optional pastoral sessions.

Academy21 offers short, medium, and long-term provision. There is no long-term commitment, and provision can be flexed up and down as needed at no extra cost. Through a secure online platform, local authorities, schools, and parents all have round-the-clock access to student progress, data, and reports.

Balancing flexibility, excellent teaching, and pastoral support, Academy21 provides students of all backgrounds with a pathway to strong, recognised outcomes.

Peacemakers

Peace lives where people have strong relationships, treat each other respectfully and equitably, have a voice and the skills and tools to resolve and transform conflicts.

Peace education helps people understand their reactions and interactions. It helps to build better relationships in the groups and communities which we are part of and to create the building blocks of peace in our wider world. In schools, when there is learning for peace, children and young people understand and communicate their emotions and needs. They get along, work and play together better in class and the playground, and they navigate the complex issues they face as they grow up and become more engaged in the world around them.

Peacemakers is a small charity dedicated to sharing skills and strategies to grow peace in schools and communities. We have nearly 40 years’ experience, working in hundreds of schools of all types, equipping pupils and the adults who work with them with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to build peace.

Serenity Welfare

Serenity Welfare is a unique organisation providing a wide range of humanistic and caring services for children and young people experiencing family and community exclusion who are often either on the edge of care or looked after. They are specialists in working with children and young people at risk of criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation, gang culture, knife crime, county lines and modern slavery - and care passionately about the children and young people we work with who are often disaffected, disassociated and disengaged from society.

The Serenity Welfare mission statement is to safeguard, nurture, educate and inspire children and young people towards safe, healthy, happy and fulfilling lives, able to meet all their aspirations and ambitions.

All Serenity Welfare services are underpinned by our values and ethos of openness, honesty, reliability and anti-oppressive, anti-discriminatory practice. The humanistic approach, supported by high grade transport facilities, highly trained mentors and supervisors - and the commitment to non-aggressive, non-violent and compassionate communication and relationship-based practice, make Serenity Welfare leaders in child and young people services.
